You should always use the right container or jar when you are blending the ingredients. Usually, the container is provided along with the blender in the pack, and it is good to use the same blender. It denotes the quantity that is good for the blender. Excess quantity can damage the blender.

You will be able to get the best and perfect consistency of the ingredients once the blending process is done.
Tap it slightly:
When you are done with blending, you should take the immersion blender out of the jar, but hold it just above the jar so that any ingredients that are stuck in the blades to come out. You can tap on the shaft with your hand. Never bang the shaft to the jar as that can damage the blender.
Wash it off:
Never forget to wash the blender after every use. Leaving it like that without cleaning can make it tough for you to clean the blender when the food dries out. It is not healthy as well.
